Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy

Long Island College Hospital School of Nursing is committed to a learning environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.  Each individual has the right to learn in a professional atmosphere that promotes equal learning opportunities and prohibits discriminatory practices, including harassment.  Therefore, Long Island College Hospital School of Nursing expects that all relationships among persons in the learning environment will be business-like and free of bias, prejudice and harassment.  It is the policy of Long Island College Hospital School of Nursing to ensure equal learning opportunity without discrimination, or harassment on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, disability, citizenship, marital status, creed, sexual orientation or any other characteristic protected by law.  Long Island College Hospital School of Nursing prohibits and will not tolerate any such discrimination or harassment.
